F18T 52.211-9G67 AUTHORITY TO EXCEED OR VARY QUANTITIES DSCR (FEB 1996)

(a) In the performance of delivery orders issued under this contract,
the contractor is authorized to deviate from the quantities shown in the
delivery order by a plus or minus 10% variation for each line item of LABOR
CATEGORY provided. The variation shall be within the labor categories provided
in the delivery order only; line items specified in the contract but not called
out in the delivery order shall not be utilized. The variation shall not
exceed the total ceiling amount of labor for the delivery order. Variation
within the other Direct Cost line items, or between the labor categories and
the other Direct cost line items is prohibited. In no event shall the ceiling
amount of The delivery order be exceeded without prior written approval from
the Contracting Officer.
(b) At any time that the contractor finds it necessary to require realignment
of the Schedule under the order other than provided above, it shall promptly submit
a written request for such realignment to the Contracting Officer. The request
shall state in detail the basis for the request.
