As prescribed in 5311.304-90(e)(5), insert the following clause, substantially as written, in Section E:
INITIAL ACCEPTABILITY ITEMS (AFMC) (OCT 2008)
The Initial Acceptability Items (IAIs) shall be inspected to determine if they comply with all verifiable dimensional and material requirements for the items identified below. If acceptable, the IAIs shall be returned to the Contract Administration Office to be used to inspect the remaining items. This statement applies to (insert contract line item(s)).
